Click and let me tell you about Training And More
I am an experienced trainer/coach and an accredited NLP Master Practitioner with a real passion for working with people to develop their true potential. My background is in media, where I have developed my career through sales and management with some of the UK's biggest publishing companies, for the last 18 years with the Guardian Media Group.
Whilst working with them I progressed through the ranks, managing sales teams across a broad portfolio of products and developing new areas of business. In 1996 I started the Internet department at the Manchester Evening News, devising and launching Manchester Online (www.manchesteronline.co.uk), which has gone on to become the biggest city portal web site in the UK outside London.
Whilst working for Guardian Media, I was also appointed a board director of the giant UK online classifieds business fish4 (www.fish4jobs.co.uk, www.fish4cars.co.uk, www.fish4homes.co.uk), a position I held for six years, bringing my expertise to bear on the commercial development of this dotcom business.
Throughout my career I have been committed to the development of my staff and I have a depth of experience of training at all levels, with the last two years having been spent as a Training Consultant with the Guardian Media Group.
Training is more than a business for me, it is a personal passion. My belief in the potential of the individual has led me to become firstly an NLP Practitioner, then on to become a Master Practitioner.
I have a positively infectious approach to training and this drives my desire to deliver consistently fantastic results for both companies and individuals.
Away from ‘the business’, my wife Linda and I enjoy narrowboating together, whilst my other 'mode of transport' hobby - motorcycling - is strictly a solitary pursuit with Linda wisely unwilling to hop on the back! I also torture a guitar now and then, and sing (well, some call it singing...).
